Rakkigaru's terms of service

Please read everything carefully before contacting me. By commissioning me, you’re accepting these terms and conditions.

General terms

  • I retain the copyright of the artwork under any and all circumstances.

  • I have the right to use the artwork for self-promotion and use it as Patreon rewards or similar.

  • I have the right to reject a commission if I don’t feel comfortable working on it.

  • You must provide a visual reference (or references) for the character(s). I don't work with descriptions.

  • You must credit me as the artist whenever you share or use my artwork.

  • You can’t claim the artwork as your own, trace/copy it, or edit it without my permission.

  • Monetization of my artwork isn’t allowed.

  • You can’t, under any circumstances, reproduce the artwork for NFTs, use it on AI learning softwares, or similar.

  • I will draw:

  • Fanart and original characters

  • Humans, humanoids, furries, monsters, robots, animals

  • Robotic parts

  • Armor pieces

  • Nudity and/or suggestive art

  • I won't draw:

  • Extremely disproportionated body types

  • Vehicles

  • Complex robots/mecha

  • Full, complex armors

  • Real people

Payment

  • Payment will be through paypal invoice, in euros. I won’t start working on the artwork until the payment (or part of it) has been made.

  • A payment plan can be discussed for commissions over 200€. The final artwork won’t be delivered until the full payment has been made.

  • For commissions with deadlines, a rush fee will be applied depending on the date proximity and complexity of the artwork, and your commission will become a priority on my list.

Use

  • All commissions come with a standard commercial license that allows you to use the artwork for self promotion on social medias, streams or videos. Credit to me must be given in any and all of these cases.

  • Monetization isn’t allowed.

  • Licenses are non-transferrable: you can’t transfer the rights of usage to another person or resell my artwork.

Process and revisions

During the process, the following will be sent to you for confirmation:

  • Sketch to confirm poses and composition. (Any kind of correction can be made.)

  • Clean lineart and flat colors. (limited corrections can be made. Extra charge for big changes.)

  • Final piece. (Only small adjustments before the completed work is delivered. Extra charge for big changes. Some big changes might not be accepted.)

More wips can be sent if I have doubts or if I need clarification with specific details.

Refunds

  • You can only request a 95% refund if I haven’t started the sketch yet. Refunds won’t be accepted after I’ve started working on the commission.

  • If for personal reasons I can’t finish your artwork, I will offer a 100% refund.

  • The following will result in the cancelation of the commission with no refunds, and you will be put in a blacklist:

  • Breach of ToS.

  • Being offensive or disrespectful towards me. Please remember you’re working with a real person.

  • Repeatedly failing to properly communicate (not responding to messages within a week, or not answering questions that will hinder the commission progress).

  • Failing to fulfil the payment(s) at the agreed dates.
